Adhesive tapes for thermal class B
up to 130°C continuous operating temperature
These adhesive tapes withstand temperatures from approx. -20°C to 130°C in continuous operation. Mainly polyester films are used in this thermal class. Many of the adhesive tapes made of Mylar®, Hostaphan®, polyester fleece and polyester glass fabric are UL-listed and listed in insulation systems. The polyester film used makes the tapes highly resistant to creepage (CTI=1). They are suitable for applications in transformers, coils, electric motors, windings and many more.
