Adhesive tapes for thermal class E
up to 120°C continuous operating temperature
Adhesive tapes e.g. made of acetate silk fabric or crepe are manufactured with ageing-resistant, electrolytically inert adhesives. These tapes withstand temperatures from approximately -20°C to 120°C in continuous operation. Many of the tapes are UL listed and listed in insulation systems. They are suitable for applications in transformers, coils, electric motors, windings, and more.

Information on the breakdown voltage is always given at an operating frequency of 50/60 Hz. At higher frequencies, the dielectric strength is reduced depending on the material.
